Oh, he did it again!!!!

For CV, the #1 artist print I wanted to obtain was titled (I believe) “The Hunter and His Prey” and it depicted Boba Fett standing on the rooftop of one of the buildings on Cloud City, overlooking the platform the Millennium Falcon had just landed on, watching Lando greet his guests. The print was one of two to actually sell out at the con, and you can now find it on eBay from time to time for well over $100.00. I knew the artist; Chris Trevas was going to be doing a print for CVI, so I've been anxiously waiting for “the great reveal” as it were. Well last night I got to see it on SW.com and let me tell you, he didn't disappoint!

It's called “His Vision Returns” and it's most assuredly 18” x 24” of perfection on paper and well worth the $55.00 it'll cost to obtain this beauty. If you haven't seen it, it's a shot of Han Solo sitting on the Falcon and actually getting a good view of Leia in her Slave garb. Boy, you hang that on the wall and you may very well set the whole house on fire! It's just that HOT!!! I know ACME will be having pre-orders for all the prints starting sometime after SDCC and at only 250 copies available, I'm sure this is one that'll have to be obtained pre-CVI because there'll be none left by the time the convention rolls around.

Mr. Trevas has outdone himself once again and hopefully at least 1 copy will end up hanging in the Louvre with all of the other masterpieces. This piece is not only the best that CVI has to offer; it could quite possibly vie for contention as one of the greatest SW prints of all time. If I had the time, money, and was into all that, I'd think about having it tattooed on my body, but as I don't believe Chris is a tattoo artist, I don't think anyone else could do it justice. So I'll just have to settle for getting it on paper...and then guarding it with my life! My precioussss.
