So while everyone else was distracted over the HasLab Sail Barge , I was over at the Marvel section getting my comic geek on . I am simply amazed at the scope of characters that they are able to produce in this line.. Much of what they showed off was hitting shelves or about to hit shelves but wow was there a lot to digest

My most looked forward to endeavor was the Marvel Legends 10 Year Cinematic Movie Collections . These should be hitting shelves around August or so . Some great characters here my absolute favorites being MCU Tony Stark and MCU Mark 1, Thor: The Dark World – MCU Thor and MCU Sif ( this Sif figure is stunning) , Iron Man 3 –Pepper Potts, Hot Rod Iron Man, Mandarin or Trevor if you'd like , and Civil War – Captain America and Crossbones. There will be 10 of these sets and they all have great box art on the side of their packaging that when placed together make a fantastic mural. They did not show the set from infinity war ( probably because of spoilers or just product embargo)

Their other highlight was bringing out a retread of the toy biz legendary riders series. Seriously Marvel Legends and motorcycles ... how much better can it get..??! They are kicking off this line with Black Widow and bike and a fantastic Ghost Rider and his ride from Hell. If you head out to stores or online right now you can score these masterpieces . I was able to pick them up and absolutely love them . Coming up next is Wolverine and bike which looked amazing. I mentioned to the Marvel team that they could use this format to release maybe a bigger figure and a legend like my own personal wish of Crystal and Lockjaw... They said it was a good idea and its been discussed, so if this comes out you all have me to thank .. or not because my wish list is probably unlike that of any other fan ..

if you already saw the Lizard wave of Spider-Man Legends , they are following it up this spring with another Spider-Man themed wave with House of M Spider-Man, Scarlet Spider, Cloak, Dagger, Daredevil, Elektra, and an new nifty Doctor Octopus. The Cloak and dagger figures are really awesome and were on my wish list for some time. You will be able to remove Cloak's body and have his empty Darkness enabling the dagger Figure to be placed and appear as she is coming out of his dark dimension ..

More X-men will be coming in spring as they showed their new X-men build-a-figure wave with Apocalypse as the builder. This had some great characters here also ,Wolverine, Storm, Psylocke, Multiple Man, Gladiator, Magneto, and Sabretooth.. The Storm figure is a nice release as a previous version of this "punk" look was a Toys R us Exclusive and was pretty darn hard to find. The new Magneto is especially nice and the Psylocke is another great looking figure.

Ant-Man and the Wasp got some love as well with a really nice 2 figure set .. you gotta admit they absolutely nailed Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lily's likenesses .. the Rudd Expression is a bit goofy, but with the tone of those Movies it really fits in my opinion . It is worth mentioning that here is where their new 3D face printing technology shines. I've been a collector of S. H. Figuarts Marvel and Star Wars lines and what I've seen Hasbro develop lately really ups the bar.

They also have some other Ant-Man toys coming that, while for kids, are still really fun to play with The Titan Ant man (Giant Man) has a smaller Ant-Man that pops out of his chest to simulate a shrinking feature. I was allowed to demo it and it was really fun.

Probably what I think was the Grand Daddy of all reveals was their Marvel Legends MUC Infinity War Infinity Gauntlet. This is an amazing prop replica and a lot of fun. Its highly detailed has electronic light up infinity gems and articulated finger motions. After some begging I was allowed to try it on and had a blast with it. If it was only real... I soo wanted to give some one the middle Infinity finger as all the digits were controlled independently, but I held that back until I have my own store bought product.

Thanks again to Bill Cable for having me on Team Cantina for Toy Fair coverage. It was a pleasure to again attend this great event. With a little luck, I'll be back at the Hasbro Marvel booth next year !!
