What’s everyone getting so excited about???

For all of those who have seen "The Last Jedi", many are so incensed by what happens to Luke Skywalker at the end of the movie. Hopefully by now everyone has seen the film or at least knows what happens, so I'm going to be discussing it, and the fact that there is absolutely no reason for all this back lash because WE'VE SEEN THIS EXACT THING HAPPEN BEFORE, AND IN THE PREVIOUS FILMS! Let's break it down here, shall we?

Anakin was found by Qui Gon, who saw his incredibly strong connection to the Force, and was taken to the Jedi temple for training.
Ben Solo's strong connection to the Force didn't go unnoticed, and his uncle Luke sought to train him and others in the ways of the Force.

Anakin met and became friends with then Chancellor Palaptine, who unbeknownst to everyone, was actually Darth Sidious.
Ben somehow caught the eye of Supreme Leader Snoke, who thought to turn him away from the Jedi to the dark side of the Force.

Anakin grew strong in the ways of the Force under the tutelage of Obi-Wan Kenobi, all the while Chancellor Palpatine worked in the shadows, helping Anakin's distrust of the Jedi to grow.
Ben grew strong in the ways of the Force under the tutelage of Luke Skywalker, all the while Snoke worked in the shadows, helping Ben's distrust of the Jedi to grow.

Anakin became Darth Vader and worked with Darth Sidious to overthrow the Jedi, killing all of them. Obi-Wan tried to stop him, leaving his badly burned body on Mustafar to die, unfortunately that didn't happen, now Vader had given himself over completely to the dark side, and to Sidious' teachings.
Luke sensed Ben's growing connection to the dark side and tried to stop him once and for all, but ultimately could not. Because of his failure, Ben Solo forsake the Jedi, became Kylo Ren, fully committed himself to Snoke, and the other students either joined the Knights of Ren, or were killed.

Ben Kenobi went to hide out on Tatooine.
Luke went to hide out on Ach-To.

Leia sent R2 (and subsequently Luke) to find Ben Kenobi and enlist his help in the Rebellions cause.
Leia sent Poe and BB-8 (and subsequently Rey and Finn) to find Luke and enlist his help in the Resistance's cause.

Upon seeing his friends were in danger, and needed some sort of diversion if they were to escape the Death Star, Kenobi sacrificed himself in his battle with Vader, allowing everyone to get away.
Upon knowing his friends were in danger, and needed some sort of diversion if they were to escape Krait, Luke sacrificed himself in his battle with Kylo Ren, allowing everyone to get away.

Even though Ben was gone, he still spoke to Luke in Episodes V & VI, getting him to go to Dagobah to train with Yoda, and become the Jedi Master he was meant to be.
Even though Luke is gone, "I'M BETTING" he'll come back in some form in "Episode IX" to aid Rey (and ultimately the Resistance) in defeating Kylo Ren and the First Order.

When you look at it this way, it really makes sense, doesn't it? At least I think so. Let's just wait until Episode IX comes out to see how everything plays out together before burning Lucasfilm, the Star Wars franchise, George Lucas, and all of its directors in effigy, sound like a plan? Thanks in advance for your patience and support.
