Star Wars Celebration (Sat)

Got up and went to "Gatorville" for their buffet breakfast before boarding the shuttle back to the convention center. Today was relatively light schedule-wise. Only one autograph: Felicity Jones, and two photo-ops: a Felicity Jones solo, and a Felicity Jones/Alan Tudyk combo. This was good as I was also getting a tattoo done on my right shoulder by the one and only Marc Draven. A BB-8 with his little torch giving the "thumbs up".

First up was the Felicity Jones photo-op, once that was done, I had some time to kill as I didn’t have to be back in the tattoo pavilion until @ 1:30, so I went and bought some things at the Disney store. The Celebration store line was still insane, so that was a no-go. The tattoo took @ 2 hours, then we headed back to the photo-op area and did the F.J./A.T. combo, then I got in line to get her autograph.

Once all that was done, it was pretty close to closing time, but instead if boarding the shuttle to go back to the hotel, we crossed the street to the hotel that was hosting the 501st bash as we had tickets for it, and waited for that to open. They really went all out in the lobby for the bash, that’s for sure. They had two huge balloon displays, one was a Sandtrooper on a Dewback, the other was a Tusken Raider standing next to a Bantha. I was just looking forward to sitting down, ordering some food, and something to drink. Once we got inside the main ballroom, it was another story. There were very few places to sit, and what seating there was, were already occupied. If you wanted a drink, you had to stand in one of many long lines to get it, and the way things were set up and laid out, it didn’t appear there would be any food forthcoming. There were two really sexy Twi’leks on stilts, so I snapped some pics of them. We stuck around for the raffle, but as neither Barry nor I won anything, once that was over we decided to Uber back to our hotel and get some much needed sustenance there. Then it was back to the room to rest and recoup and prepare for the final day of Star Wars Celebration 2017.
